For schools

Help shape a student-built satellite launch program.

The high school launch program is in development to provide hardware, mentorship, and a path to launch once funding and partners are secured.

Program highlights

  • Full mission cycle from concept to operations.
  • Hardware and launch planned through the foundation.
  • Mentorship from engineers and educators.
  • Open source release of all mission outputs.
Selection model

Planned 50/50 model for access and equity.

Customer nominations

Kit purchasers will be able to nominate schools for up to 50 percent of mission slots.

Foundation selection

We plan to select 50 percent of missions based on readiness, diversity, and equity impact.

Transparent outcomes

Mission reports and lessons learned are published for the community.

Program timeline

Target timeline: 12 to 18 months from kickoff to operations.

Phase 1: Onboarding

Teacher training, team formation, and mission concept selection.

Phase 2: Education

Phase 3: Build

Flight hardware integration, software development, and testing.

Phase 4: Launch preparation

Qualification, launch campaign, and mission rehearsals.

Phase 5: Operations

On-orbit operations, data analysis, and mission reporting.
